Bleckmann Logistics came to Oracle storage with the challenge to more than doubling their storage capacity. On top of that we needed to develop a project plan would that enable them to still operate in the building, including over the Black Friday sale period.
We designed, manufactured and installed a mezzanine floor in two phases, this enabled Bleckmann to continue operating during the build. We handed over 50% of the mezzanine floor, enabling Bleckmann to relocate onto the new floor, before we then completed the final 50%. This was a complex project that we delivered in partnership with Green Sky Contract Services, including full site setup (CDM), electrics, 60-min fire rating and lift.
The warehouse now has an additional 97,000sq ft of available floor space for storage. It's enabled Bleckmann to sign up new customers as they continue to grow their UK operation.
